Shri T. Prasad Rao Dora, President of Odisha State Co-operative Bank (OSCB) and Director of Odisha Fisheries Co-operative Corporation Limited (FISHFED) has been unanimously elected as FISHCOPFED Chief at New Delhi on 2 April. Dr. S. Made Gowda was declared elected as Vice President.
Shri Rao had served as President of the National Federation earlier also. He has also served as President of FISHFED-Odisha. In his previous term, he also served as vice-chairman of the International Fisheries Cooperative Federation.
The election was held in compliance to the judgement of Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. Returning Officer conducted the election process of FISHCOFED on 02nd April, 2024 and declared the result of election for the post of President and Vice-President of the National Federation of Fishers Cooperatives Limited.
